I want to say a few words about the brother I knew and love so deeply. It is impossible to talk about
Jonathan without talking about the spiritual life.

For each one of us, life on earth is just a moment in eternity. How we spend that moment is what life is all about.
God gave every one of us volition to make our own decisions. Most of us struggle for many years after Salvation to
attempt to live in the plan of God only to arrive in eternity, battle-scarred and bruised - there only by the Grace of God
through faith in Jesus Christ.
But Jonathan was saved at an early age and grew strong and true in the Word of God. I'm sure he had
his temptations like everyone else, but he kept his focus on the eternal rewards and did not allow the
distractions of this world to alter his path.

The bible says there is much rejoicing in heaven when a believer fulfills the plan of God and is finally called home.

He has fought the good fight and come out a winner.

So it is with confidence I say that tonight there is much singing in heaven.
