Birds are my first love, but I'm interested in fish, reptiles, flowers, insects, amphibians, etc...

I have been interested in wooden models of ships for years.
I was on my way home from work one day & I saw this woman tossing out a model ship.
I stopped & asked if I could have it. She said 'yes' and put it in the car for me.
I am working on cleaning & repairing it.
This is what it looked like the day I got it.
I'll post new pictures when it is restored.
I have found some very interesting wood model ship sites.
Occasionally I win an award, or accomplish something useful,
such as getting my CTM with Toastmasters International.
